Portuguese coach Jose Morinho, who coached Seria A giant Inter between 2008 and 2010 and then became the technical boss of Real Madrid in 2010, made striking statements about that process.
Stating that he chose the difficult rather than the easy one with his decision, the 60-year-old coach used the following statements.
“It would have been more comfortable for me to stay at Inter rather than go to Real Madrid and compete with Barcelona. I would have easily won another Serie A title. We would have gone and won the World Club Championship medal, but it would have meant nothing to me.”
Jose Morinho, who had many trophies in his career, including the UEFA Champions League Championship, went to the Spanish giant Real Madrid after winning the Serie A and the Champions League with Inter.
