Streetwear brand Peso is expanding its product range to include sneakers

The Düsseldorf streetwear brand Peso is releasing its first sneaker.

The silhouette of the ‘Peso Tank’ is a mixture of a slim sports shoe and an urban chunky sneaker, Peso announced on Monday. The brand, which was founded in 2016 by fashion designer and YouTuber Justin Fuchs, was “not based on any existing silhouette”.

Fuchs and his team worked on the development of the model, creating several prototypes and discarding two complete productions.

The final product is now manufactured in Portugal. The first release took place at the beginning of March for the colors “Snow”, “Cherry” and “Cobalt” in sizes 40 to 46. The shoes were sold out within four minutes. Because of the strong demand, the company decided to offer even more sizes – from 37 to 48 – in pre-order for 48 hours last Friday to the community that Fuchs and the brand particularly appeal to online, so that the models do not become more expensive later will be offered in resale, according to the announcement. The price of the ‘Peso Tank’ is 199 euros.
