A 93-year-old woman from Tilburg was brutally robbed of her necklace on Tuesday. She was walking around a quarter to one with her walker in the Westerpark in her hometown, when a man on a bicycle gave her a push. As a result, the victim fell to the ground.
Then the thief pulled the chain from her neck and quickly ran away. Someone who saw the street robbery come to the aid of the startled woman and take her home.
The perpetrator is about 40 years old and 1.80 to 1.85 tall with a white or light complexion. He had a clean-shaven face and is missing some teeth. He also wore black clothes.
The police are asking witnesses to report on telephone number 0900 – 844 or 06 – 122 07 006.
