Jumbo leader: ‘Now it’s my turn’

His lousy preparation for this Vuelta a España raised many questions, but in the first days Primoz Roglic seems to dispel all doubts about his fitness. In the won team time trial, the Jumbo-Visma leader was one of the engines and in the hilly fourth stage he seized power in an impressive way. Unthreatened, he was the first to cross the line, taking over the red jersey from teammate Edoardo Affini. The fourth overall victory beckons, but danger lurks.
