Stream The Memorable Case of Mr. Poe on Netflix

The Memorable Case of Mr. Poe is available on Netflix January 6th. The film ran in a few selected German cinemas for a short time from December 22nd and can now be accessed on the streaming platform.

Set in 1830, Christian Bale, as investigator Augustus Landor, goes on a hunt for assassins in a remote military academy. He is supported by the young cadet Edgar Allen Poe. The character embodies former child star Harry Melling, best known as Dudley Dursley in the Harry Potter films.

The film is based on the novel of the same name by Louis Bayard. The film adaptation of the original is Bale’s third collaboration with director Scott Cooper. The two have previously worked together on the revenge drama Eye for an Eye and the western film Enemies.
