stream blink-182’s “Edging”: That’s what Tom DeLonge’s comeback sounds like

At the beginning of the week, blink-182 announced their reunion with a classic line-up: together with their singer Tom DeLonge, who left in 2015 and has now rejoined, they want to release a new album and go on tour in 2023. A new single has also been announced and it’s here now: listen to blink-182’s “Edging” streaming here.

Two days before the release of the new single, Tom DeLonge asked the rhetorical question on Instagram: “What if I told you that we recorded the best music of our career?”

Tom DeLonge joins Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker, who replaced Scott Raynor on drums in 1998, as part of the California pop punk band’s classic line-up. Blink-182 have released eight studio albums to date, the most recent two (CALIFORNIA, 2016 and NINE, 2019) featuring Alkaline Trio vocalist Matt Skiba replacing Tom DeLonge. During his hiatus, DeLonge brought out a solo album and another with his band Angels & Airwaves, among other things, and dealt with ufology.
