The “Stranger Things”–Star Noah Schnapp has to face strong criticism on social media. The reason: In a video shared on is reading.
The backlash comes in the middle the Israel-Hamas conflict. Israel’s retaliatory attacks come after Hamas’ attack on Israel on October 7, 2023. There is currently no end to the attacks in sight. The Internet community finds the mime’s choice of stickers tasteless for this very reason.

A comment under the X-posting with the 19-year-old says: “So now we’re making fun of something that brutally took the lives of innocent children?” Another user writes: “Noah…why is it sexy to kill innocent civilians??” Fifth Harmony singer Lauren Jauregi tweeted on the topic: “Who the hell even thinks of the word ‘sexy’ in the midst of genocide…” Her post was shared by, among others Actor John Cusack shared.
