Stranded Belgians testify from Israel: “My children are afraid”

“It’s really not okay. Other countries are sending planes.” Hundreds of Belgians are stuck in Israel and Gaza. They are afraid, but cannot return home. “I can fill an airplane on my own,” N-VA MP Michael Freilich urged Prime Minister De Croo. It confirmed on Thursday evening that a flight with 180 seats would take place on Saturday. Earlier this week, some Belgians testified from Israel why repatriation is desperately needed: “We felt abandoned.”
