Storm Eunice has now left the country, but it will not be very quiet this weekend, according to Weer.nl. Although Saturday will start dry and sunny in most places and the wind will gradually decrease, clouds will increase later in the day and it will start to rain towards evening.
The small low-pressure area coming to the Netherlands is once again causing strong winds on the Zeeland and South Holland coasts. In the north of the country the wind speeds seem to be not too bad, but in the southern coastal provinces it can reach wind force 7 to 8 with gusts of up to 80 kilometers per hour.
These winds and rain will dissipate later on Saturday evening, followed by a brief clearing. Again short-lived, because Sunday looks set to be a day with a lot of rain. Regionally, between 20 and 40 millimeters of precipitation can fall.
We are not finished with the wind on Sunday either. A south-westerly storm may possibly develop at the sea and gusts of more than 100 kilometers per hour can also occur in the coastal provinces. This wind takes a warm air with it, causing the temperature to rise to a maximum of 12 degrees on Sunday.
It will also continue to be windy on Monday. The sun does occasionally shine through the showers. It will remain unsettled until the end of the week.
