Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg and storm talent Yoon-Sang Hong go their separate ways.
The South Korean is returning to his hometown club Pohang Steelers, the Lower Saxony announced on Tuesday.
The Wolves had previously agreed to an early end to the two-year loan with 1. FC Nürnberg, for whose second deputy the 21-year-old had played since last summer.
Hong switched to the Wolfsburg U19s in January 2021 and has meanwhile been loaned to the Austrian partner club SKN St. Pölten.
