The left lane in the Velsertunnel on the A22 is closed because there are still branches left over from storm Poly on the road. It is therefore completely fixed on the A9.
Traffic in the direction of Haarlem takes half an hour longer due to the traffic jam. Rijkswaterstaat has announced that they will continue cleaning up after the rush hour.
Partly due to the closure of the tunnel, it is stuck on the A9. There is about 17 kilometers of traffic jam between the Kooimeer junction and Velsen, which causes a considerable delay of almost 50 minutes.
