The market in Breda continues on Friday until noon. Normally the market is open until three o’clock. The market people were told that this morning, says Peter Dilissen. He is on the market with a stall and is a member of the national market advisory committee.
“We see that the peak of the storm does not come until around four in the afternoon. We therefore assume that we can open in the morning. We have experienced people and have good, sturdy stalls.” According to Dilissen, about 25 markets have been canceled across the country. “But those are mainly markets that are closer to the coast.”
