Storm Ciarán coming: RMI warns with code orange in West Flanders, train traffic “seriously disrupted”

From tonight and tomorrow we can feel the influence of storm Ciarán. The storm depression will mainly be located above Brittany and the Channel, but there will also be consequences in our regions, the RMI reports. From tomorrow there will be a warning with code yellow for strong winds throughout the country, and in West Flanders even code orange will be announced. Wind peaks of 80 to 100 kilometers per hour are expected in the center of the country and in Flanders, and between 90 and 110 kilometers per hour in the west. Even stronger gusts of wind are possible during showers, according to the RMI, which also warns of damage.
