Stora Tuna OK aired her third consecutive victory at Jukola.
AOP
The Swedish Stora Tuna OK won the Lukkari-Jukola in Mynämäki. OK Ravinen was second and Norwegian NTNUI was third. The best Finnish club in the competition was Kaleva Rasti, which was fifth.
The Stora OK team included Olle Kalered, Anton Sjökvist, Henrik Johannesson and brothers Jesper, Joakim, Emil and Viktor Svensk.
The achievement of the Borlängel Society is historic, as only the Tampere Pyrinth 1961–1963 and the Kaleva Rasti 2012–2014 have been able to win three consecutive Jukola victories.
The best Finnish club in the message, Kaleva Rasti, bowed to Stora Tuna for nine and a half minutes.
– This almost feels like a victory, as our men had to be left out of the line-up at the last minute, said the opening Jere Pajunen.
Koovee (6th) and Turku Forest Visitors (8th) were also among the top ten Finnish clubs. Of the favorites, Helsinki Orienteering and Tampereen Pyrinto were rejected due to a false stamp.
