Humberto Tan is causing some annoyance about his complaint that he did not receive any baby photos from colleague Eva Jinek. “This is just crying in public. You don’t do that on television.”
More and more signals are emerging that Eva Jinek is an uncollegial woman. At least, many of her RTL 4 colleagues feel completely unseen by the presenter. Even now that she is leaving the channel, her closest colleagues have not even received a normal call from her. They can get an app. At most.
No baby pictures
There is some annoyance about Eva’s attitude. Roelof Hemmen feels quite sidelined and Humberto Tan regrets that, unlike others, he did not receive any baby photos from the presenter.
Media journalist Mark Koster is annoyed by it. “Eva Jinek has given birth and now I see people in all kinds of RTL programs at her time saying: ‘Yes, I was actually not kept informed about her pregnancy. Of her giving birth and also that she just left here.’ Humberto was also a bit insulted that he did not receive a text or was not called.”
Public howling
Mark talks in the podcast The Juice Show that he doesn’t understand that kind of complaining. “Roelof Hemmen, her sidekick, also said: ‘I only had a text.’”
Co-host Yvonne Coldeweijer: “There were other people who had received photos of the baby.”
Mark: “Yes, a very nice editor works there who is of course good with her and got that. That’s also possible, right? Someone you like. What do you think about that? I wouldn’t mind if you didn’t send that to me. Then I wouldn’t be standing here crying, ‘Oh, that’s ridiculous.’ What do you think of the public crying on TV?”
Punani
Yvonne, who is pregnant, also thinks it’s a lot of fuss about nothing. “Well, you know, I’ve never experienced it, but I can imagine that the moment an alien comes out of your punani, it’s not top of mind who I think of first. Maybe to your best friends or someone who just wished you luck last night. You know, like that.
Mark: “But that on RTL…”
Yvonne: “It’s as if she wasn’t allowed to come to a children’s party!”
Very whiny
Mark thinks Humberto and Roelof should stop complaining. “Yes, but it is quite special that you are in a serious talk show, or well, also with entertainment, fine, but that those people tell us that. Or am I really whiny?”
Yvonne: “Well no, sorry. That’s the last thing Eva Jinek cared about, I think. She just gave birth. Leave that girl alone.”
Mark: “I love Eva Jinek and even if she didn’t tell anyone, I think it’s crazy that they talk about it.”
