Stone Island debuts at the upcoming Men’s Fashion Week in Milan.
The Italian sportswear brand will make its debut on the runway at Milano Moda Uomo in January 2024, Carlo Capasa, president of event organizer Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, said earlier this week.
The brands presenting there also include the Italian luxury fashion house Fendi and Gucci. The Florentine fashion house will open the event in January with its first men’s fashion show led by new creative director Sabato De Sarno.
The fashion week also includes shows and a co-ed format from the British label JW Anderson, the Canadian brand Dsquared2, the Italian designer Federico Cina, the German Philipp Plein, the French fashion house K-Way, the Seoul label Andersson Bell and the Italian Simon Cracker brand.
Eight other brands will make their debut at the twice-yearly event, including Italian brands Domenico Orefice, LaTorre, Mordecai, Noskra, Rubeus Milano, ViaPiave33, Institution by Galib Gassanoff, and Black, part of US outdoor outfitter Woolrich Label by Todd Snyder, as well as the shoe brand Stuart Weitzman, which will present its men’s collection this season.
Capasa emphasized the importance of creativity, innovation, quality and sustainability for the continued development of the Italian fashion industry. Milan Men’s Fashion Week will be featured on the Milano Fashion Week online platform.
