Two statues stolen from a nativity scene at the Clemens domain in Brunssum in December have been found again.
That reports SE-NWS Friday morning.

The statues, a camel and a ‘messenger’, were found at the Lambertus Church in Bingelrade.
The Clemensdomein foundation had reported the disappearance. “We hope that the two Christmas statues will simply be returned to their stable in Merkelbeek. Then, as far as we are concerned, the police do not have to intervene further,” said Peter Kleuters, vice-chairman of the Friends of the Clemens domain association.
Puzzle
Jef Wierts, a volunteer at the Lambertuskerk, puts the statues back where they belong. Who or how they were stolen remains a mystery for now. For example, the camel statue weighs 40 kilos and “you don’t just put it in your pocket”, according to Kleuters.
