Business game stock exchange and business game Börse Plus – competition of the savings banks
The Business game stock exchange is one of the best-known stock market games in Germany and is now offered in a total of five European countries. The savings banks’ stock market game has been around since 1983, and it usually starts in September every year.
Unlike many of the competition’s stock market games, the classic Sparkasse stock market game is aimed exclusively at students and trainees. The online competition lasts eleven weeks and the participants take part in the stock market simulation in groups (usually in school classes). The aim of the online competition is to get the younger generation interested in the stock market.
In addition to a successful overall strategy, the income from sustainable investments is also decisive for success – you can find out more about sustainable investments in the guide to investing sustainably.
But the Sparkasse also offers other interested parties with the Management game stock market plus and other local competitions, the opportunity to prove yourself in a fictitious competition all about securities trading. You can also take part in the business game Börse Plus alone or in teams of four.
The profits from the stock market simulation game: The winnings in this stock market game differed depending on the participating country. In Germany, the three best student teams with the highest total deposit value and the three best teams with the highest sustainability yield win. The schools in the participating classes also benefit: the six winning schools receive a school prize, such as travel, and further small prizes are distributed depending on the individual guidelines of the local savings banks.
The prizes in the business game Börse Plus: The three most successful student teams with the highest deposit value receive a cash prize, as do the three best student teams with the best sustainability rating.
