The layer of snow in our province will remain until tomorrow morning. Those who like to make a snowman have the best chance tomorrow morning, but that layer of winter precipitation will disappear in the afternoon. The amount of snow will also vary from place to place.
The winter precipitation will continue to spread across North Holland this evening. The snow and hail can make it slippery in places. “Locally there is a chance of a layer of snow of several centimeters,” says weatherman Jan Visser.
People who go outside at night should be careful of slippery conditions. Freezing of wet road sections can cause black ice to form.
Snow disappears
