Today of all days, the Enkhuizer music sensation Claude was to provide the opening act for his musical example Stromae for the first time, but the Belgian had to cancel the shows due to illness. In November Claude will still make his appearance in the largest concert hall in the Netherlands, but then as support act for Suzan & Freek.
Claude Kimbe. He came, saw and conquered. In no time. Only a few months ago he worked anonymously in a restaurant at Enkhuizen station, now the whole of the Netherlands knows him from the mega hit Ladada (Mon Dermier Mot). In addition to reaching number one in the Top 40, the song also reached platinum status. His new song Layla is also enthusiastically received.
Busy summer
A busy summer awaits him now, with many performances. Last weekend he opened the festival season at Paaspop, a major event in Schijndel. On July 8 he will make his appearance at Dijkpop in Andijk.
Claude was soon renamed the ‘Dutch Stromae’, coincidentally his musical example. The surprise was great when Claude was told that he could provide the support act in the Ziggo Dome three times. The disappointment was just as intense when news came last week that Stromae had to cancel the shows.

But there is not much room for disappointment, because Suzan & Freek now ensure that Claude enters the Ziggo Dome after all.‘Proud and very happy to announce that Claude will provide our support act in the Ziggo Dome!’proclaims the musical duo on their own Instagram channel.
The performances are scheduled for November 10, 11 and 12.
