Steven Tyler is following “strict medical advice” and postponing Aerosmith concerts

Aerosmith are going on a big “PEACE OUT Farewell Tour”. But the farewell has to wait. The lead singer of the rock band Steven Tyler suffered a vocal cord injury after the last show on September 9th. He now has to follow “strict medical instructions” and postpone the next six shows. The 75-year-old announced this in a social media post.

“It breaks my heart to say that I have received strict doctor’s orders not to sing for the next thirty days,” apologizes the singer. “I sustained a vocal cord injury during the show on Saturday which resulted in bleeding. We need to reschedule a few dates so we can come back and give you the performance you deserve.”

The American rock band will be touring North America until next year. Aerosmith’s final live show will take place in Cleveland on February 29, 2024.
