Steven Brunswijk reacts to a hard swipe René van der Gijp

Steven Brunswijk reacts to René van der Gijp’s hard swipe at his address. The Today Inside star no longer wants the comedian at the table. What does he think of that?

A month and a half ago, Steven Brunswijk made his debut as a table guest in Today Inside. It was the infamous broadcast in which Johan Derksen told his candle story. Steven also received a lot of criticism afterwards, because he had to laugh at the anecdote. Two evenings later he was with Op1 to distance himself from the men of VI.

René denounces Steven

René no longer needs Steven at the table, he told this week in VI. “Then I drove home in the evening and I thought: never this again. Sitting next to Stevens Brunswijk. I thought that was a low point. I thought that was a really low point. Yes, nothing came of that. Nothing really came of that.”

It is quite a step after René. It will undoubtedly play a role that Steven so eagerly wanted to distance himself from the men of VI in a talk show. It was clear that he absolutely did not want to go down with the VI ship.

Steven responds

However, Steven is not awake at all from René’s criticism, he now lets you know on the channel from RUMAG presenter Farja Farvardin. It is striking that he then packs that message into no fewer than four (!) audio messages that are so long that Farja has only selected a few fragments to share with his followers.

He says in it: “With all due respect, but yes… I have nothing to do with René, he is not related to me, he is not an uncle or aunt or brother or not a good friend. It’s not my employer. I have nothing to do with that man, so I don’t care what he says. You know, it’s you asking for a response and I’m not the hardest, but that’s how I get into it: positive vibes.”

“I don’t give a shit!”

For minutes Steven oracles that it doesn’t affect him at all. “I don’t give a shit. I don’t care. If you speak to him, give him all the success from me and that is really not meant to be sarcastic.”

He concludes: “I hope he can sit there for a long time and enjoy it. Wilfred and Johan too. I hope the program can go ahead, because that’s what I want. It’s nice, you know. Sometimes they say things that are awkward. That can happen, we all make mistakes and you have to learn from mistakes.”
