Stephanie Stumph: Exaggerated feminism is far from my thing

Actress Stephanie Stumph doesn’t believe in “over-the-top feminism.”

“I find it difficult to get a job just because of gender,” she told the newspapers of the Funke media group (Saturday): “The better one should prevail, whether man, woman, old, young or what skin color.”

She found it “difficult if I knew that I only have a job because I’m a woman and not because of my performance,” explained the 37-year-old: “However, it doesn’t seem to work any other way, that’s probably why a quota needed.”

For the Dresdener, who can be seen, among other things, as Commissioner Annabell Lorenz in the ZDF crime series “Der Alte”, life also includes a willingness to take risks and courage. “When you have both, life has a lot to offer,” she said.

In general, “love is the greatest risk when you reveal yourself, show feelings and give someone the chance to get to know you”
