At the campsite on the Tienelsweg in Zuidlaren, a mobile home burned out at the beginning of the afternoon. The fire was reported around 2:30 p.m. When the fire brigade arrived, the mobile home was already on fire.
The fire brigade could not prevent almost the entire chalet from being reduced to ashes. The fire has spread to the mobile home next door. It has been badly damaged. Both are completely uninhabitable.
The smoke released by the fire could be seen in the distance. It is not yet known how the fire started.
