Stephan Fanderl takes on the role of Chief Strategy & Retail Development Office at JC Switzerland Holding AG.
He will take on this task at the company, which belongs to Peek & Cloppenburg KG, from September 1st, the Düsseldorf fashion retailer announced on Friday. The former Karstadt-Kaufhof boss came to Peek & Cloppenburg at the beginning of last year to be part of the company management and responsible for corporate development, logistics and expansion as well as Europe-wide sales.
JC Switzerland: Fanderl becomes part of the company management
Fanderl is now joining the management of JC Switzerland Holding AG, which Peek & Cloppenburg founded earlier this year to strengthen its digital business. In this position, he will be responsible for “long-term growth, strategic partnerships and the development of new retail business models,” according to the announcement. At Peek & Cloppenburg he has been involved in the strategic realignment for the past two years and has driven the expansion.
The industry expert has many years of experience in retail thanks to his positions at companies such as Galeria Karstadt Kaufhof, Metro, Walmart and Rewe. He will help Peek & Cloppenburg to become Europe’s leading multi-brand omnichannel fashion retailer by 2026.
