SAccording to various studies, 65% of today’s children will become adults in a profession that does not yet exist, and the majority of these professions will be in the digital and technological field. Already today the market requires 1.3 million ITS graduates and diploma holders by 2027, but faces a shortage of 8,700 specialized profiles per year. And according to i data DESIwhile women represent more than half of graduates (57.7%) in our country, only 8.8% have a STEM degree.
Encouraging the development of skills in scientific subjects among young women in our country is therefore the objective: for the country but also for companies working in the technological sector. Here are some initiatives implemented with the aim of reducing the gap.
