Steenstraat perhaps car-free every afternoon

The board of governors will make a decision on this on Monday. The measure was introduced as a pilot project last month and was successful. Both shoppers and merchants are satisfied. The police don’t see any problems. A number of parking spaces in Steenstraat will also be removed, and additional loading and unloading zones, green areas and bicycle sheds will be added. There is no date for those works yet.
