Staying the night in the Bavaria brewery: this is what it looks like

Real beer lovers will probably have dreamed of it: sleeping in the brewery between the beer. Jordi and Mira are those lucky ones. They can spend the night at the Bavaria brewery in Lieshout on Friday night.

Bavaria, together with hotel chain Van der Valk, has converted the old brewhouse on the Bavaria site into a luxury hotel. A bed has been made from a stack of beer crates next to one of the brewing kettles. Another boiler has a sofa and a football table. A table is nicely set, because the lucky ones get an extensive five-course dinner made by a private chef with a view of the brewery grounds.

Jordi Sielhorst and Mira Rooiqakkers from Eindhoven are amazed when they walk between the brewing kettles for the first time. “It’s big here,” Mira says. “Especially with all those boilers and all the things from the past that are still there,” adds Jordi.

“You don’t often experience sleeping in such a luxurious location.”

Outside a terrace has been created with a unit with a luxurious bathroom. Next to the sunbeds is a real jacuzzi. It is unfortunately not a jacuzzi full of beer. “Hahaha, no”, Jordi laughs. “But I’m glad the fridge is full of beer.” 0.0 beer, that is.

Of course, the bed should also be tested. “I think we’re going to sleep very well here,” Jordi says. “You don’t often experience sleeping in such a luxurious location.” Jordi and Mira sleep in the temporary hotel on Friday night. On Saturday night, other guests arrive and then the hotel on the brewery disappears again.
