AMSTERDAM – Despite missing out on the unofficial title of winter champion, which has become a prey for PSV, Ajax coach Erik ten Hag spoke of 2021 as “an exceptionally good year” for the team from Amsterdam after the 5-0 victory over Fortuna. This is evident from the Eredivisie statistics for the complete calendar year, in which Ajax finished at the top in almost all possible classifications.
