Last Tuesday HBO Max made its appearance on the Dutch streaming market. In the Netherlands you can also subscribe to Netflix, Videoland, NPO Plus, Viaplay, Prime Video, Disney Plus, Apple TV Plus, Ziggo Movies and Series, and Mubi. Is there an overkill?
More and more people watch movies and series via streaming services. Their number continues to grow. Last Tuesday HBO Max entered the Dutch streaming market, with a preliminary offer of about eight hundred films and series, thousands of hours of material.
HBO already offered top series in the Netherlands such as Game of Thrones † The Sopranos and succession † The big disadvantage was that you had to have Ziggo as a provider to be able to look. With HBO Max, that problem is no more.
Huge offer
In the Netherlands, the film or series addict can also subscribe to Netflix, Videoland, NPO Plus, Viaplay, Prime Video, Disney Plus, Apple TV Plus, Ziggo Movies and Series, and Mubi. They all cost money and offer various successful films and series exclusively. You just have to be able to find them.
Is there an overkill? Are there too many streaming services in the Netherlands, or do they just enrich the offer?
