A top sporting event makes the city bustle, as was evident during the start of the Giro d’Italia in 2002. There is now talk of bringing Formula-E to Groningen.
Or are you not waiting for so much hassle in the city and do you think it’s cozy enough? Or is Formula-E not a suitable event to put Groningen back on the map? Would it be better for the city to aim for the start of a Tour de France or another major cycling race? Or is she doing well to revive Euro football?
