Statement of the day | Rammstein performances must continue as long as the singer has not been convicted

The German metal band Rammstein is under fire because of alleged transgressive behavior by frontman Till Lindemann. Meanwhile, there are calls to cancel the concerts in Groningen on July 6 and 7. What do you think, can Rammstein still perform now that the singer is under fire? Or is that not an issue until it comes to a possible conviction?

Mathilde van Heereveld (33) finds it incomprehensible that the men of Rammstein are not being hindered after the allegations against Lindemann. She organizes a protest march on the day of the first concert in Groningen.

This month, the singer has been accused of drugging and raping young female fans after concerts. The Public Prosecution Service in Germany is investigating Lindemann’s dealings.

What do you think, should the performance in City be cancelled? Or should Lindemann and Rammstein be allowed to continue until a trial or conviction is reached?
