Fenerbahçe Club stated that 3 years (1095 days) have passed since the application made to the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) regarding the championships before 1959.
In the statement made by the yellow-dark blue club, “Although two different managements worked during our application, it seems that the will to finalize this application could not be demonstrated.” The expression was used.
In the statement, which reminded the TFF’s previous commission announcement, the following was noted:
“Last July, the Turkish Football Federation decided to establish a special commission to evaluate the success criteria and official status of the league, which started in 1959 as the Turkish 1st Football League and continued as the Super League, before and after 1959.” A statement was made, but no concrete steps have been taken so far. A situation such as an application waiting for 3 years in the TFF Board of Directors for review has never been encountered before, and it is undisputed that this situation harms our club’s freedom to seek rights. From the first day, it has been supported by historical facts, official basis and evidence. “We respectfully announce to the public that we expect the necessary steps to be taken and our rights to be delivered as soon as possible for our pre-1959 championships, for which we demand our rights, that we stand behind our cause and will never give up, and that we will not allow the efforts of Zeki Rıza, Lefters, Jihad and many others to be overshadowed.”
