The Potsdam state parliament is now stopping rent payments for the constituency office of ex-AFD member Andreas Kalbitz (49).
From Hildburg Bruns
The landlord of the office on Maxim-Gorki-Strasse had informed the state parliament administration that Kalbitz had not paid his rent in January, February, March and April. The RBB reported first.
“We are examining the process, but are not speculating about the consequences,” said a state parliament spokesman for the BZ Kalbitz had opened the joint office in August 2020 with his then party friend Dennis Hohloch (33) over bratwurst and beer.
The state parliament did not reveal how high the rents transferred to Kalbitz from tax funds are. In principle, a maximum of 800 euros/month is transferred for constituency offices – in Berlin, the contribution has just been increased from 1000 to up to 1500 euros/warm due to the high price level in the capital.

The state parliament now wants to offset the overpaid contributions against other payments from Kalbitz. The monthly allowance of a member of the Brandenburg state parliament is 8601.01 euros and 1929.59 euros go to the pension fund.
The landlord terminated neo-Nazi Kalbitz’s office use at the end of April without notice – it must be vacated by mid-May.
