State of emergency in the Seychelles after explosion and flooding

Dozens of people have been injured in an explosion on the grounds of a construction company in the holiday paradise of the Seychelles. In addition, two people died from a landslide following heavy rainfall. President Wavel Ramkalawan has declared a state of emergency. All shops and schools on the main island of Mahé must remain closed to keep the streets clear for rescue efforts.
