Hard words! Ex-Manchester United player Alan Brazil claims to have learned that coach Erik ten Hag is currently anything but very popular with the Red Devils’ stars. The bone of contention is therefore the suspension of ex-BVB player Jadon Sancho.
After Jadon Sancho vehemently contradicted coach Erik ten Hag in a publicly accessible Instagram post and thus accused the Dutchman of lying, ten Hag suspended the offensive player, for whom United transferred a whopping 85 million euros to BVB in 2021.
The 23-year-old Englishman is now not even allowed to train with the professionals – apparently an affront for the rest of the team that is difficult to cope with.
The Manchester United players should no longer believe in working with ten Hag, reports former United player Alan Brazil in his role as an expert for “talkSPORT”. A Man United player is said to have told this to a person who knew Brazil “very well”.
“From what you hear, they are disgusted with the way he treated Ronaldo – and they say that Sancho is a great guy who works his heart out,” Brazil added.
Cristiano Ronaldo dealt against ten Hag
Superstar Cristiano Ronaldo fell out of favor with ten Hag in the 2021/22 season, the collaboration ended prematurely, and CR7 ultimately surprisingly moved to Saudi Arabia.
Ten Hag said afterwards that Ronaldo leaving Manchester had not caused him any sleepless nights. The Portuguese said a little later on “TalkTV”: “The coach had no respect for me. That’s the reason why the relationship is the way it is. He constantly says in the press that he came to me and like me, blah, blah, blah, but that’s just for the press, 100%. If you don’t respect me, I’ll never respect you.”
A few weeks ago, ten Hag said about Sancho that he had decided not to use the offensive player because he had performed poorly in training. Sancho vehemently contradicted this and complained that he was serving as a “scapegoat”.
