American actor known for his role as Luke Skywalker in the Star Wars films Mark Hamill has collected money for Drones to be delivered to Ukraine.
The campaign goes by the name, Army of Drones, which refers to the Star Wars movies and the series that fought against clones.

The president of Ukraine himself contacted the actor, who became popular in the 1970s, and asked him to act as the face of the fundraiser.
Hamill responded positively to the request.
– Ukraine needs drones. They determine the course of the war, they defend the country, the people, they guard the borders. They are eyes in the sky, Hamill said about the project in a radio interview.
Hamill tweeted an edited photo of the drone, which resembles an aircraft carrier from the Star Wars movies. As a message, he wrote in Ukrainian: let the force be with you.

Fundraising is done through the Ukrainian government, which has established the United24 initiative.
Hamill says that he is surprised that he is being informed very well and often about the situation.
In addition, he has been told that more than 500 drones have already been delivered to the country since he was there.
