On October 31, 1983 the mini-album “Star Fleet Project” was released, which Queen guitarist Brian May recorded with his friends Eddie Van Halen (guitar), Alan Gratzer (drums), Phil Chen (bass) and Fred Mandel (keyboards). recorded in April of the same year. The record celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2023 and will be re-released as part of May’s “Gold Series” on June 14th. In addition to newly created 2023 mixes of the mini-album, the box contains a second CD with previously unreleased session recordings, as well as two radio interviews and two live tracks.
The deluxe edition box contains:

The remixed original tracks from the record, ‘Star Fleet’, ‘Let Me Out’ and ‘Blues Breaker’, among others, will also be available on black vinyl (180g). In addition, collectible 180g Picture Disc vinyl and cassette albums will be released exclusively through QueenOnline.com. There will also be a 7-inch vinyl version and a CD single, also available exclusively for purchase through the Queen online store.
