Lewis was a stand-up comedian, but also became known for his role in the television series Curb Your Enthusiasm. The twelfth season of the series is currently available on the HBO streaming service.
In 2021, Lewis shared that he was not in the eleventh season of Curb Your Enthusiasm because he had to recover from three surgeries. He eventually appeared in one episode. “When I walked onto the set and everyone was applauding, I felt like $1 million,” he said at the time. Variety.
