Stalking victims powerless and despondent: five years after Humeyra’s murder, help is not yet in order

A new report shows that the approach to stalking has improved considerably, but it is still not always possible to really help victims. Five years after the murder of the Rotterdam girl Humeyra, who was previously stalked by perpetrator Bekir E., Robin Fontijne of Victim Support Netherlands explains what this means in practice. ‘Some victims disappear and say: I will solve it myself.’
