In Ostend, the merger between the Henri Serruys Hospital and the AZ Damiaan will be official from tomorrow and it will become one large hospital: AZ Oostende. And that stirs up a lot of emotions in the Serruys Hospital. To say goodbye to ‘their’ hospital, all staff members lit a candle and held a minute’s silence.
