The 12-year-old George was in July with his parents, the British crown prince William and Princess Kate, on a sailing trip along the Greek islands in the Ionian Sea. Just after the departure of their super yacht from Kefalonia, however, a boat was sent on a special mission: the Daily Mail believes that the young George was looking forward to something that the chef on board could not make: a hamburger from McDonald’s.
“George needed a specific item for his diet, which led to a boat in Zakynthos ashore to buy it. Nothing extravagants, just something special,” said a source. The Daily Mail, however, points out that Zakynthos was the only island nearby where there is a McDonald’s. “The prince must have made sense in a Big Mac,” speculates the tabloid. Nothing is too much for a future king.
“It is company policy not to provide information about our customers,” the manager said.
