Stacylee Richards talks about her lifestyle change

Exercise pays off if the lifestyle is also in order.

English Stacylee Richards tells In the Leicester Mercury from his extraordinary fitness regimen.

Richards, 38, who really got into fitness training, says he lost almost 40 kilos in a year.

– Now I can no longer find women’s size 4 jeans and I have to shop in the children’s department, she smiles at the consequences of the change.

The British woman has published several pictures on her Instagram account in which she presents the results of her work.

Richards, who worked in a bank, says that he has been addicted to daily snacking on junk food for a long time. Nutrition issues had already been bad as a child and got worse as an adult, when he relieved the pressure of a busy managerial job by diligently using the products of a bakery that opened nearby.

He says that he orders two different types of meat pies, filled Patong and jam donuts, from the bakery around the corner from his workplace every day. The pounds started piling on.

– Now thinking about it makes me feel bad, but then it was the norm for me, says Richards.

The weight yo-yoed

Gym training was familiar to Richards, but it didn’t stop the yo-yo movement of the weight.

Years ago, he belonged to a weight loss group and got results with it. At the same time, however, it became clear to him that the problems were deeper than weight control.

– On the day of the weigh-in, I starved myself and then rewarded myself with greasy breaded sausage, cheesy french fries and gravy. Even after I lost the weight, I still had an unhealthy relationship with food.

In 2018, he put so much effort into his training that he participated in his first bodybuilding competition. However, the wave movement did not stop, because Korona changed the routines and drove him back to an unhealthy diet.

In the autumn of last year, Richards had enough of gaining weight and sought help from his former coach. Daily training and careful selection of what he puts in his mouth began.

The results were confusingly fast. In September, he got to celebrate his victory in a competition organized by the Fit X association.

– Words cannot describe how proud I felt on stage. Only last year I was in such a bad place physically and mentally, that returning to competition physics and such a big win is something really wonderful.

A way of life for mice

Richards currently runs his own personal trainer business. In that, his most important message to his clients is that a bad diet cannot be corrected by training alone.

– I am living proof that you can make a comeback after many knocks. When I gained weight during the lockdown, many times I didn’t think I would get to this point, but with hard work and determination I have succeeded.
