A man was stabbed at a homeless shelter on the Riethil in Breda. That’s what the police report. One suspect fled, but was later arrested by police.
Police are investigating what happened at the homeless shelter. “We suspect that the two got into an argument, which eventually led to the stabbing,” a police spokesman said. The two are known to each other.
After the stabbing, the man fled. He was arrested about an hour later. The suspect is a 36-year-old man from Breda, police said.
An ambulance arrived on the scene to assist the victim. It is unknown how serious the man’s injuries are.
