Georgiy K. (42) almost became a murderer out of jealousy and anger about the separation. So the charge against him before the district court. The Kazakh sat there in his snow-white shirt and listened to the prosecutor’s accusations without a trace of emotion.
May 20, 2022, around 8.15 in the morning in a prefab apartment on Stendaler Straße (Hellersdorf). A loud argument between the accused and his wife Olga (38). One word makes the other. The situation escalates. He lunges at her, bangs his fists, kicks her head, pulls her hair…
Olga’s 19-year-old daughter Katrin is not spared either. He even attacks her with a butcher knife (blade length 20 centimeters) and stabs her hand. She can fend off stabbing movements against her abdomen with a high chair… The stab in the direction of the heart with her arm.
The truck driver then follows Olga, who has meanwhile fled into the stairwell. She falls on the first floor. He sits on her, stabs her. A neighbor boldly intervenes. Can push him away. Luckily he loses the knife in the process… Mother and daughter suffer various stab and cut injuries. The mother even had to undergo an emergency operation.
The accused also has numerous cuts on his arms and hands and is taken to the same hospital.
A police officer (29) in the process (for attempted murder and dangerous bodily harm): “We found the accused in the courtyard in the bushes – in underpants. Motionless. I smelled alcohol.” The man only regained consciousness in the hospital. His words at the time: “I can’t remember anything.”
His wife Olga, whom he has known at home since his youth, then lost sight of for years, met again and married in 2018, is said to have filed for divorce in the meantime.
