Comes from FC St. Pauli
After relegation, SV Sandhausen continues to work hard on the squad for the 3rd division and has presented the fourth newcomer in Luca Zander. The 27-year-old right-back comes on a free transfer from FC St. Pauli, for whom he made 21 appearances as a substitute last season.
“Luca is a very good player who will help us a lot on the right side. He has already gained a lot of experience in the 2nd Bundesliga and is definitely seen as a top performer by us. We are very happy that he has decided to move to Sandhausen,” said sporting director Matthias Imhof. Zander added: “The people in charge tried very hard for me and showed me a lot of appreciation. I had very good discussions and can totally identify with what we are planning here.”
