Spring has sprung: happy cows jumping and dancing in the meadow

Every spring it is a spectacle to see: cows that are allowed back into the ‘meadow’ world after a long winter period in the stable. 45 cows at Jocobreebaart care farm in Wijdewormer were allowed to enjoy the lovely spring sun again today!

Every year they celebrate the ‘cow dance’ at the care farm. The stables were thrown open again and the ritual, called the ‘pasture’, could begin again.

According to the farmers, grazing cows that graze outside give better milk and are also healthier because they suffer less from inflammation and other discomforts due to the outdoor life.
