SPOT Groningen and North Sea Jazz have announced the first names for Rockit. This jazz festival will take place for the fifth time on Saturday 12 November in De Oosterpoort in Groningen.
SPOT Groningen and North Sea Jazz present established names as well as the rising stars from the jazz scene and related styles on six stages. The connecting factor is the adventurous, progressive way in which the artists incorporate other styles into their music.
The following acts have already been committed to the festival:

- The Comet Is Coming
- Bill Frisell
- Lizz Wright
- Lady Blackbird
- Melanie Charles
- Joel Ross
- jazz saxophonist Marike van Dijk
Tickets for Rockit are available from Wednesday on the website of the Eastern Gate.
