According to the written statement made by the Premier League, in line with the decision taken today, substitutions can be made at 3 different times during a match and between halftime, and a total of nine players can be added to the substitute list.
Due to the Kovid-19 pandemic, the right to change five players was introduced in European football in May 2020. Since last season, the English Premier League has started to apply the 3-substitution rule again.
The Premier League did not implement 5 substitutions this season, as it felt that clubs with larger squads were given an unfair advantage.
Starting April 4, the twice-weekly COVID-19 testing practice for players and staff will also be removed, and only those who show symptoms will be tested.
