SPORTS NEWS – FIFA and UEFA banned! Flash move from Russia after this decision

In the statement made by the federation, it was stated that the ban given to Russian teams by FIFA and UEFA had no legal basis.

It was noted that with the direct expulsion decision, the fundamental rights of Russia, such as the right to participate in the competitions and the right to speak, were violated by the governing bodies of football.

It was argued that the Russian National Team was excluded from the play-offs of the 2022 FIFA World Cup European Qualifications with the pressure of rival countries, and it was stated that this situation was against the basic principles of football and the spirit of fair play.

Russia’s men’s and women’s national football teams and Spartak Moscow Club were affected by the ban from FIFA and UEFA.

Unless a change is made in the current decision until a second announcement, the Russian National Men’s Football Team has been expelled from the 2022 FIFA World Cup European Qualifications play-off tournament, whose semi-finals will be played on March 24 and the final will be played on March 29.

Russia National Women’s Football Team lost its right to participate in the 2022 European Women’s Football Championship, which will be held in England on 6-31 July.

Spartak Moscow, which matched with German club Leipzig in the last 16 of the UEFA Europa League, was left out of the tournament.
